Telangana State Government on Komuram bheem, Vaccination Systems

 Chief Minister Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the Telangana state government is committed to fulfilling the lofty ideals of KomaramBhim who fought for the rights of the tribals. He said that the state government has made the aspiration of Adivasis “Our rule in Our Gudem, Our Thanda”, a reality. The CM paid glowing and rich tributes to Adivasis's most worshipped leader KomaramBhim on his birth anniversary and recalled the services rendered by him.

The CM said that the state government is implementing several schemes and programs for the welfare and development of Adivasis and KomaramBhim's Birth Anniversary is celebrated officially. He said that Jodeghat, the place from where KomaramBhim waged his battle is developed.  He said at Jodeghat, the KomaramBhim memorial, SmritiVanam, and Museum were constructed. 

To uphold the self-respect of the Adivasis, in the center of Hyderabad, Adivasi Bhavan is being constructed and it is ready for the inauguration. The CM said that the slogan of KomaramBhim Jal JangalZameen was very much an integral part of the separate Telangana Statehood government and is in the development path under the self-governing state.

The CM said Adivasis have a very special love towards forests and nature and everyone should take inspiration from them in this regard. 

Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has lauded the efforts of the scientists, doctors, healthcare workers, and all the frontline warriors for their efforts in enabling our country to achieve the milestone of administering 100 crore vaccine doses.

“This is a historic day and we have achieved a great landmark in our vaccination drive by administering a record One Billion vaccine doses in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” she added.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership in guiding our country on its massive vaccination drive.

Government of India Successfully Crossing 100 Crore Vaccine Doses Mark

The Governor, on the occasion of India crossing the 100 crore vaccine doses mark, has visited the ESIC Medical College and had interacted with the doctors, medical students and staff of at the ESIC Medical College, here, on Thursday.

She stated that India has disproved the cynicism about the country’s capability to vaccinate its large population and emerged victorious by administering 100 crore vaccine doses in less than a year.

“We are proud that we have taken the vaccines produced indigenously and we have also supplied our vaccines to many other countries. Indian scientists have made us proud,” she said.

The Governor appealed to those who are yet to get vaccinated to take the vaccine at the earliest and shun the vaccine hesitancy so as to protect oneself, one’s family members, and others at large.

She stated that the vaccines proved safe and effective in protecting people from the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

The Governor witnessed the ongoing vaccination at the ESIC hospital and congratulated a beneficiary on getting vaccinated while appreciating the doctors and the staff.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, Governor’s husband and eminent Nephrologist Dr. P. Soundararajan, ESIC Medical College Dean Dr. Srinivas and others were present.
